Uttar Predesh is a very big State. In my opinion, the State needs to be divided into more manageable areas of administration—Western UP, Eastern UP or Bundelkhand, so that people can focus more on implementation of policies,” says Ashok Chandra, a 1959-batch UP cadre IAS officer.
